It’s not as hard as made out either, the problem is too many teams around the north side and too many fellas coming and going between clubs, whatever about the quality of some of coachford squad which is as high as I’ve seen in over 13 years in the league, but the fact there’s minimal changes every year, when I was with glenthorn we had a completely different starting 11 nearly every season, 2 years back with village not much different, knocka constantly having plenty of transfers, the Glen and bohs both folding in that time strengthened the other teams temporarily but most teams lost too many stalwarts that kept the numbers up in training, in mayfield alone there was 6 junior teams 2 years ago to go along with the senior team in mayfield united, too much chopping and changing every year, chemistry is a real thing and coachford have the best, the only other side who stayed relatively the same was grattan in that time and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that they’re the only other team to win the premier in the last 6 years, too many fellas want an easy way out or to play with their buddies down the divisions rather than knuckling down and giving it a go, the cbl was similar teams were coming and going and fellas jumping ship to different teams because of the cows dominance there
