Is it true Rylane are pulling out ? Anyone hear anything of any revival with rathcormac? Heard mallow Utd are putting in an AUL side

Rylane were in big trouble last season changed manger late in the season after their then manager lost the plot at a game.

They were also very disappointed to be deducted 3 points towards the end of the season.

You couldn’t see Rathcormac returning in the short term anyway.
Players was their problem and 6 or 7 of them have now signed with Grattan B.

There was talks last season of Mallow Utd and Village entertaining a second team but left it too late hard to know will they come back looking to join this summer

Fruice ya heard that too be interesting now to see who puts in a second team and any team that is coming back and leaving just hope to god we get league and structure this month good few teams back already

Teams back already seems early not even the 1st of July , some teams only finished with weeks that makes it nearly a 12 month season lads need to give the body and minds a break.

I’d be very surprised to see leagues this month.

Registration forms aren’t due back until the end of the 3rd week of July.

Traditionally divisions would be released shortly after the August Bank Holiday but have progressively become later than this in recent times.

Coachford are getting better and better and it seems like Grattan and village are going backwards. Donoughmore are decent but nowhere near to competing with coachford. Banteer and strand will be up there fighting for second place I think.

You could easily make a case for cathedral, mallow town and Belmont going premier A and with Waterloo being promoted and UCC relegated that would make it competitive.

Mogeely, blackstone, los zarcos, Grattan b and boher all in division 1 would be competitive.

The remaining teams in division 2 with the addition of Bweeng and watergrasshill is decent.

Then division 3 you’d have castlebridge, Sullane and inch with boscos coming down would be fairly even unless some handy new team joins and runs away with it.

Thatsfootballbaby Los zarcos are gone up too 3 got promoted to be honest I think mallow and Belmount should be at least division 1 .

Will be interesting how prem A will line up still have Hibs Shandon glenthorn and Springfield plus the 3 from div one plus ucc one or two more would be good maybe mallow

Division 1 you wouldn’t know who will make that division up and 2 and 3 need re shuffling

They are struggling the last few years might be a good move.

Any idea where R. Morrison lad upfront for Rathcormac ended up ?

Morrison is quality , i was sure hed be snapped up last season when Rathcormac folded. 100 percent a Prem A player at least. Be interesting who will sign him

Morrison didnt sign for anyone else, went doing other sports.
Genuine question, can new teams entering the league enter higher divisions or are they automatically put im division 3

This is one that has annoyed me for a long time.
The AUL put them where they feel they should go.
It means a team can fold in Prem A or Div 1 & come back 2 or 3 years later into Prem A or Div 1.
I personally think it`s a joke and it makes it easy for teams to just fold and reform.
While they are folded other clubs who are struggling try to keep it going but drop down divisions.
Some teams out there only want to play if they have a chance of winning the league, so they are either successful or they fold.
Make them come back into the bottom division and have an actual deterrent to doing it.

As for the Glen, i believe the new team are Glen Hibernians, they are not paying up Glen Celtics previous fines so therefore as a completely new club entering the only possible outcome for me is that they are put into Division 3 anything else and it is a disgrace.

Should be div 3 like with mallow town and Sullane last year I think a lot goes into the level you are coming from so it’s structured right

And you have a point that returning with out consequences shouldn’t be allowed, but there is a counter to this argument in that you don’t want a situation where they are arriving into the lowest division where they are a way to strong for thus robbing the teams playing correctly at their level the opportunity to win something.

Fruice would the same players be attracted to a return to Div 3? or would it have to be more of a rebuilding process is the main question. very easy to convince guys to come back to where they left off
