I agree, let them go if they want. But there is a three-player rule, 100%—I've read it. I was a secretary for two seasons and it's an FAI rule, not a League rule. Three players from one club are to stop teams from being decimated.
My understanding of the rule is that all the AUL players from Castleview are free to go, but if a club exceeds the three, then the other club would have to give written consent to the league and to the FAI, allowing any further players from active teams within the club.
Players are free to move wherever they want, but only so many can go to one team. Knocka had the right to stop transfers to Leeds if they really took five.
I agree with both sides if the player wants to go then let them but i also agree with the rule.
