Tuesday 11th apparently leagues teams dates etc will be revealed - anyone have an insight before that?

I'm hearing that the AUL contacted Knocknaheeny Celtic, saying that Castleview won't be happy if they try to sign their Munster Junior players. Knocknaheeny Celtic have signed players from the team that folded, so they would be free agents, wouldn't they? I also know two lads from the MJL side who want Knocknaheeny Celtic. Should the AUL not be happy with this? Or are they trying to keep Coachford with all the cups? This is outrageous. If lads want to leave, the AUL has to release them, don't they?

1horserace 2 different organisations you can take up to 3 players from one club without anyone been able to stop you so can't see it been true

Also hearing derek Daniels is going step down if the dont let him sign player and that means another team gone from aul

That 3 player rule only applies once the season has started. It's to make sure teams don't fold ONCE the season starts.

There isn't a general rule anywhere in any mens league governing the mass signing or transfer prior to the season starting.

All the Aul can ask is the BOTH clubs come to a mutual agreement about it.

Let's face it who wants players on a team that don't want to play.

Leave them transfer where they want and get on with the season.

@Littleman #p1319 Knocknaheeney Celtic released 5 players to Leeds and had no problem doing so. The lads want to play football and are more likely to try and win things than just have a game ball

Great to see some lads stepping up to MSL senior division 1 with Leeds from the AUL. Bet you most of those lads won’t be out of place one bit.

hacker12 they have and will win treble again but Aul will turned blind eye so here I go gave Luke player of year they probably went to 6 games and everytime coachford were winning well Luke was taking off so what one of um made thst call I’d imagine Marty which was terrible in my opinion lad from cathedral gets 50 goal plus and the dinosaurs decide lets give Luke player of year cause Msl teams my take him I’ve some pain in me belly laughing at pepper and Martin who doest agree

Harshref01 Luke Casey was the best player overall by a long shot. The lad for cathedral went missing when it came to AOH semi final, Luke Casey does the business in the big games as well as week in week out. There’s levels my man. Fair play to the lad for his 50 goals, a great achievement and he got a trophy for that.

Probably the only game he didn’t score in all season & his overall play was outstanding
& id congratulate Artur Ozinsski on that front. What a phenomenal goalkeeper. How he isn’t at an LOI club even as backup is crazy.
If o Callaghan charts similar numbers this season they should pay more attention. The entire prem just rolled over and died last season for Coachford to steamroll over them.
Casey is an amazing player by the way and well done to him for his achievement last season.

And he is the best player on the best team managed by the best manager by a mile .

So ya, they deserve the award.

Ref, you havin a moan because Coachford cleaned up.

Why not have a moan that the entire league needs to man up and challenge them each week.

The Aul commitee thing is a bit boring lads.

Did many more jump from their AUL team. I wonder ?

Waterloo could feel aggrieved not to get team or manager of the year by the way as they won a treble and made an AOH semi final where they gave Coachford a better game than any prem team bar Donoughmore early in the season.
They also progressed well beyond the cork section of Munster Junior Shield.
The only thing they didn’t do was win the AOH Cup basically.

It seems the lower division teams would need to win an AOH to get any of the 3 top awards. Player, Manager or Club of the year. I don’t know is that the right marker.

MossieLinane They had great season sully doing good job out there and I think they could be a team to watch this year

Hacker he had a poor season for mallow town. He played well in the cup games towards the end of the season but gave away a lot easy goals during the season. He is a good shot stopper but can’t deal with aerials. I heard from a lad involved with mallow town that they have a better keeper this Eason for the first team.

They got the awards right I felt, only one I thought may have been different was Manager of the Year. Cathedral manager took over a team that had 2 players signed and never won a game in his 1st year, one year later they did a double and unlucky not to get to AOH final, in terms of achievements that was maybe overlooked a bit. But Coachford are the best team so no shock they dominated awards

Yeah coachford are the best at the moment and they can’t be begrudged awards for the sake of it but certainly Mallow, Cathedral , Banteer and even more so Waterloo could have done enough for 1 of those awards between them is my only gripe

The only possible way out of this would be the Aul offer awards for each divisions manager and player,,,,,,,an as ref would no doubt tell us they'd be in the Kiln all night on Coors an chicken wings as it would turn into a farce.

He'd be right , for once.

Just watched a bit of Village and Grangevale.
Both sides used the run out to get game time for the players.

Both sides had 11 plus subs on a glorious Sunday morning so stories of struggles are just the usual lads stirring .

Village may not win the league, but they will cause teams problems up there.

Littleman good to hear that, missed the game with work, wouldn’t have played anyway after an operation on my feet two weeks ago but looks like they might be better off without me, decent result, say what you want about shipping league they’re halfway through their season, we had 3 training sessions and one of those was only 8 bodies, personally buzzing with the result
