There should be no dropping divisions or getting bumped up falsely.
You should not be allowed fold in Prem A and come back 3 years later in Prem A again or Div 1 ffs while others who struggled on drop down 2 or 3 divisions in that 3 years but the club who takes the soft option has no struggle but comes back in divisions above them!!!!
You play the division you are in and if you cant cope with the demands of the division then you get relegated. If you fold so be it & and if you reform you go start at the lowest division.
This is the system used by almost every league in the world bar the Cork AUL and it works fine everywhere else.
Counter arguments of more teams will fold are valid but countering that the Cork AUL has a much higher rate of folding than most leagues while using this current system which allows teams to fold and reform years later in the higher divisions.
This would stop confusion, accusations of bias, clubs coming and going as they feel like it.
Nonsense of assessing teams and deciding where they should go is the daftest idea i have ever come across and i have only ever seen it in the Cork AUL.
In short it is a farce caused by creating solutions to a problem that should just be allowed evolve. Survival of the fittest.
